You love great music. We all do! Did you realize that there is so much amazing talent all around you? Billy’s Sports Grill in Northport along with Nashville singer-songwiter, Hope Cassity, has taken an amazing evening of original music and put a twist on it. Each month song writers from all over the Southeast gather together at Billy’s and get a chance to share their original music with the crowd. Its a really cool night filled with great food, drinks, and unbelievable talent. Whats the twist, you ask. Each month Billy’s & the Songwriters have partnered with a different local charity to not only raise awareness of their cause, but to raise money! Hence the #TipsForTuscaloosa name and hash-tag to use on social media channels. Last month Over $4000 was raised for Arts N Autism! So sweet!
The next Tips For Tuscaloosa Songwriters night takes place on Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 at 6pm. There is an open mic portion, so if you are a songwriter we ask that you arrive by 5:30pm to sign up. This month’s event benefits the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society. They are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving the the areas heritage. There is a suggestion of $20, but that is not required by any means. Give what you feel like giving & enjoy some awesome music! Oh, also that night Billy’s has half off all wine by the glass, so that is like icing on the cake! See you there.
